Rira Miri was born in 2002 in Tehran, Iran. Growing up in an artistic family, her love for art, particularly cinema and theatre, was ignited at an early age. Her nationality and ancient roots played a significant role in shaping her artistic passion, as she was constantly surrounded by the rich and captivating Persian art.
From a young age, Rira actively participated in painting courses, knowing she wanted to pursue a career in cinema and theatre. After middle school, she attended a high school specializing in graphic design and later received her Diploma in Graphic Design in Tehran, Iran.
Driven by her ambition, Rira attended Saddleback College, where she continues to take numerous cinema and theatre courses. Eager to gain hands-on experience, she has pursued internships in costume design, production design, and acting.
Additionally, Rira consistently dedicates time to working on her personal collections, including a solo painting exhibition titled Lost Memories,held at the Hoom Bookshop & Gallery in Tehran, Iran, in 2020.

Based on her love and interest on cinema she mostly spend her time watching movies and day dreaming her role in such great atmosphere.
When she was drawing she felt as if she was creating movie scenes. She always used audiobooks and also their home as the sources of inspiration.her drawings usually include parts of their home.she rarely uses human figures she prefers to draw people solely, even if there. are many people in her drawings she prefers to show their loneliness separately. She believes in Abbas kiarostamis words that said people are more human in their loneliness.
People in her drawings are mostly her parents but with a lot of changes that she make so nobody can recognize who they are.
She loves simplicity so she takes photos omit details and draw simple views.she doesn’t follow routines about colors and would rather have her own color choice. Rira is spending her time on taking photos of different areas to be able to make a combination of photos and paintings.which is a project called “painting on the photos “that she is interested in. Rira believes that cinemas great world gives her this opportunity to perform all her dreams. One of her greatest dream is to combine the art of east and west and create a new language of art.
